Blues CEO Andrew Hore and Lockton New Zealand CEO Craig Buckle are enthusiastic about the newly minted multi-year partnership.
Mr. Hore said, “This is not just a typical sponsorship or a transaction. Our multi-year partnership will leave a legacy as Lockton works with the Blues to share knowledge in risk, insurance, data, analytics, and people, helping to advance the risk management maturity of the wider Blues business community and to help build resilience in the Blues geographical regions.”
Mr. Hore added, “On the back of the Blues Super Rugby 2024 winning season, I am looking forward to seeing Lockton provide winning risk and insurance advice to our wider communities. With Lockton being a family-owned organisation on the global stage, we are excited to officially welcome Lockton to the Blues family.”
Mr. Buckle expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: "While Lockton has been a global player since 1966, our first New Zealand office was established just three years ago. Partnering closely with the Blues is an exciting opportunity for us to drive growth and innovation for both organisations over the next three years."
“Lockton and the Blues share a fierce commitment to service excellence and community engagement, so this is a partnership we're truly proud of.”
The partnership also allows Lockton to support the Blues in attracting, engaging and retaining top-tier talent on and off the field through world-class, high-performance programs and strategic intervention.
“Like the Blues, Lockton is proud to support our own rising stars, and this is reflected through our support of the Blues Academy and age group teams”, said Mr. Buckle.
“This collaboration is also reflective of Lockton’s investment in their clients and the causes they care deeply about. For the Blues, an example of this is the Blues Charitable Trust and in the coming months and years, we’re looking forward to working with Lockton’s people to continue our momentum and success, whether that’s through Lockton volunteering at some of our events or helping to raise awareness,” concluded Mr. Hore.
